New Years Resolutions And My Little(ish) Break

Hey everyone and can I just start by saying I am SOO sorry for not posting for a while, I have had a few problems with my Blogger account and things in general so I just needed to sort them out. So starting from new year, I am going to make more of a commitment towards all my Blogger account and be more prepared for the upcoming events!

So now all that sobby stuff is over lets get back to the subject of this Blog :)
So it has taken me a while to shorten down my resolution list because with the things i was writing down I would very much doubt they would all get done/resolved in a year so here are the things i am aiming to do:

  • Make more of a commitment towards things and stay to my words
  • Be more organised
  • Stay fit and healthy
  • Be more confident
The reason I have added 'make more of a commitment and stay to my words' is because I plan things in my head but never put them into reality if that makes sense?

The one I really want to 'resolve' is be more confident because as you may know from one of my previous posts, I lack in self confidence I don't like anything that revolves around me I don't like how I look sound and sometimes come across towards other people if that makes sense?! It has come to an extent where I can't stand at the bus stop without thinking what other people think about me or how I look.

Sorry again for not posting in a while. All my social media is below:

Exam Preparation

I am now in that stage in school where they start giving you pre-GCSE papers so 'you feel more confident to know the ability that you are going to have to live up to'
And through the months I have struggled to find a revision method but I have only just found one that really helps me, I don't know if any of you have heard of it but it is called a 'mind map'?! And I like to add loads of colours to it so..... I went out to a few shops and basically did a revision haul.
Some of the things I bought are:
-Stabilo 10 pack fine liner-Asda-£3
-Exercise book/ note book- Paperchase- £6
-Sticky notes-Amazon-£3
-Page markers-Amazon-£4.94
-2016 Diary- Paperchase-£8

The reason i got my diary now is so that i can plan ahead because as you should know from my previous blog posts i've got anxiety and everything has to be planned and sorted or otherwise i go on stress mode ( if that makes sense?) so, so far I have written exams that are happening in the new year, blog posts and any further important information that i need to know.

When revising I become very anxious and stressed and start thinking things like i'm going to fail i'm not doing well enough blah blah blah, so to stop myself getting like that, I revise for half and hour and then just go and do something completely different i.e. go and watch youtube, go for a walk, go to meet your friends in the park and then come back to the revision after half an hour and start again.

Usually in the first half hour I draw out my mind map and add they key information that I need to revise. The next half hour of revision I look through the mind map and add/remove any information and then for the last half an hour I keep my phone downstairs so I have no distraction and I just revise from the start to the end of that half an hour and you know what, them half hour breaks really help!!

I hope you enjoyed this post and any information I have said can benefit you in any way.

Self Confidence

Now one thing that I struggle with still to this very day is self confidence. Things that people with low confidence do is compare themselves to other people and they think their not perfect. I have anxiety as you know from my previous blog post and comparing myself to other people is another thing that panics me. " If I don't do/get this people will look down on me" is a thing I say to myself a lot and you know what, Its really bad to do that.

One thing ive learnt is to stop comparing yourself to other people, because there is a part of them that isnt perfect, you are who you are and you've just got to appreciate that because you don't want to be like other people because you are original and you should be or look like anyone else because there is nly one version of you, so show you off!!

If there is anything that you are worried about... tell someone:
*Mum
*Dad
*Siblings
*Family member
*Friends

you get where i'm going :)

Even talk to me if you want advise via E-Mail, Google+, Instagram or just simply comment on this blogpost and I will be more than happy to help you.

I hope this Blog post came in handy and give it a +1 or a share on any type of social media. It would be much appreciated.

Spain 2015

                                                          SPAIN 2015

Hi everyone hope you all had a fab weekend, can i just say ( like i say in every blog ) You guys have been amazing with all the likes and support that you are giving me on and off my blog is unreal and to read all your comments and how you are enjoying my blog puts a smile on my face so thank you all for the support.

Back to the blog :)

So on the 2nd of August until the 16th of August my family and i went to our apartment in Spain (which we go to every year) but for some reason this year, i have enjoyed it more than previous. According to Spanish charts, the area i went to, it was the hottest summer in years but that didnt bother me to be honest. I was out in the sun everyday and i was actually really happy with the tan that i came back with haha.

Whilst i was there, i took loads of pictures but the ones above are my favourite ones of the all (all photos take myself). I went to the old town (bottom left picture) and honestly, it was beautiful i took that many pictures of the old town that my camera ran out of storage!! And the beaches there were equally as beautiful, (bottom midle, bottom left and top right) it was just so amazing to relax and hear the sound of the waves past through my ears, it literally felt like a dream.

Our apartment is really cute, the interior of it had been redesigned and it was the first time i saw it and it was AMAZING, it looked really Spanish if that makes sense?!?! (top left is the view)

I hope you enjoyed this blog post, keep commenting and ill reply and sharing and just keep what your doing, i really appreciate all that you are doing. You are all amazing!!

Back To School Blue's

Hi Everyone, can i just start by saying thank you so much to all the people that have taken the time to read my blog, I really appreciate it :)

Anyway back to the title, the word we have all been dreading to hear..... SCHOOL!!!
As previous readers will know i do suffer from anxiety on a high scale i though i was going to be a wreck going back to school but you know what, it's actually been okay, does anyone else agree.

I have joined quite a difficult year well, its different to me but this is the year GCSE is the only word im hearing in my head and i don't think my head can cope with that word because every time i hear that word, i stress out (what a surprise). But one thing i'm trying not to do this year is stress out. i know i know im failing so far but we all stress in some way! Some worse than others but at the end of the day we all stress out over something.

Someone once told me ( this may sound ridiculous to some ) but when you stress out, you get adrenaline.

QOTD (Quote.Of.The.Day) "Live each day as if its your last"

Will be posting another blog soon!!

Anxiety

Right, let's just get this thing straight, Anxiety just occurs gradually and i hate i mean HATE when people say they have anxiety and they don't and another thing that really annoys me, is the way they brag about it. Yes, I admit I've got anxiety but I don't tell the whole world. I have just told my close friends because they could see in me that i wasn't okay, and my parents, that's all! But you see people on social media writing Facebook and twitter posts saying i  have anxiety its really had bur blur blur an probably half of then don't. Anxiety's a horrible thing so i don't get why people brag about it because really? There are better things to brag about!

I realised i had anxiety at the start of this year/late last year and it was HORRIBLE! I remember my first panic attack, I was in science doing one of these petty exams and i literally broke out into a panic attack. I stress over petty things, what happens if we get to Spain and there's no air conditioning (yes, yes i did stress about that, that's one of the pathetic things I stressed about). one of the things i stressed about which apparently a lot of people thing when they have anxiety is this," are people going to like me if ive got anxiety" if anything your friends and family will always be there to help you with your anxiety, mine were, and they still are.

Another thing to do is tell a teacher or family member that your feeling really stressed, i told my form teacher and she took me to this teacher in school who helps people out in school with similar kinds of situations, Bev. Bev is the best, whenever you need a chat she is always there to help me through any kind of situation, and i really thank Bev for that. Also my mum and dad have been my rock through it, my mum has anxiety so she knows what im going through and my dad, he's always there to help me if im strssing out to much, they are the best.

so please don't keep it to yourself, tell a family member, member of staff or a friend. They will always help you.
If you need any help or want any questions answering, feel free to leave a comment and ill try and get back to you :-)
